Professional Makeup Artist and Beauty Therapist
I love to be creative and have been this way since I was little. From receiving my first makeup and face painting kits as a 6 year old, spending every bit of birthday money on craft supplies and stationary, to my hobbies now; making jewellery and crocheting (when I get time!). It all brings me to where I am today, helping brides look and feel amazing on their wedding day; by doing their makeup, polishing their nails or simply boosting their confidence with a quick and easy spray tan. I love helping people look and feel good.
My Journey
After qualifying as a level 2 Hair Dresser in early 2011 I decided I also wanted to offer beauty treatments. First I took a short course at Penwith College in Makeup then followed this with Sienna X tanning, nails, lash extensions, lash lift and brows with Chrissy Grant at Ultimate Beauty in Falmouth. In 2013 I felt drawn to study makeup further and booked a Bridal & Photographic Makeup course with well known local makeup artist; Sally Orchard. In September 2015 I completed a course in airbrush makeup with Airbase, which gives a high definition, flawless finish; is long lasting and suits all skin types, tones and coverage requirements. Since then I have studied further to perfect my skills in nails, with Chrissy Pearce and CND.
Over the past couple of years I found a new love of skincare, so I decided to train in traditional facials with Paula at Enlighten Beauty & Therapy Training and facials have been added to the treatment menu. I am an ambassador for the most wonderful, all natural brand, Tropic. Their products are all sustainably sourced, cruelty free, carbon neutral and vegan, and are available to order from me. Together with my clients I can create a bespoke skincare regime specifically for their needs and skincare goals.
